Kututu

This is the sttory of Kututu. My mum’s birth place. It is near Warakurna in Western Australia. I paint the puli, the hills around Kututu. The blind water snake – Wunambi – lives there. When you dig the sand, big water comes out. Fast.

Bernard Bell

Bernard Bell was born in 1979 in Alice Springs and grew up in Kaltukatjara. He works for the rangers throughout the country surrounding his home. He has recently started painting in the Kaltukatjara Arts Centre. He likes to paint about country and the work he is doing for the rangers.
