Andrea paints in the traditional way, using brushes and purnu (wooden sticks), however she has a unique interpretation of form and colour, using dynamic shapes and contemporary colour schemes to express her country and culture.  

Andrea Giles is a young woman who lives in Tjukurla Community where she is raising her young family.

She is the granddaughter of acclaimed senior Tjarlirli artist Mrs N. Giles, and Andrea spent much of her youth growing up in the environment of the art centre.
